Description

Insulated rescue hook for separating a casualty from a live conductor without direct contact, avoiding the risk of a second shock. Used in power plants, substations, factories and construction sites. Superior dielectric strength: the pole is made from epoxy resin fiberglass with high insulating performance. Lightweight and durable: easy for one person to handle for a fast emergency response. Insulated non-slip handle: thickened rubber grip with an insulating barrier skirt to block current conduction and reduce hand fatigue. High-load bending-resistant pole: resilient and resistant to being stepped on or pulled. Modular pole: threaded metal couplings allow the sections to be assembled freely. Detachable hook: the curved hook can be removed and different hook sizes fitted. Custom pole lengths and diameters are available to suit local utility standards.

Production & Quality

One site, from the insulated pole to the hook

The insulated pole, the threaded couplings and the detachable hook are all produced or finished here, so the two halves of the tool are matched to each other before they are packed together.

Pultrusion line: glass-fiber roving drawn from a creel into the forming line, with the cutting and finishing station alongside
The insulated pole is pultruded here. Glass-fiber roving is drawn from the creel into the line and cured before the tube is cut to the ordered length.

Finished goods on pallets in white packaging, each pallet marked with a handwritten batch number
Finished goods palletized and batch-marked before dispatch, so any delivery can be traced back to the run it came from.

Process — how it is made

  • Epoxy resin pole pultruded in-house, then cut and squared to the ordered length.
  • Threaded metal couplings machined on site and matched to the pole ends, so sections assemble freely and stay aligned.
  • Curved hook produced as a detachable part, so a different hook size or shape can be fitted to the same pole.
  • Thickened rubber grip and insulating barrier skirt bonded to the pole, then checked by hand for thickness and adhesion.
  • Customized pole lengths and diameters finished to the buyer specification, with the section count set by the order.

Inspection — how it is checked

  • Incoming material check on resin, reinforcement and bought-in metal parts before they are released to the line.
  • In-process checks at the cutting, coupling and grip stations, recorded against the production order.
  • Insulation withstand testing before shipment, with third-party testing supported on request.
  • Hook fit check: the detachable hook is fitted, removed and refitted to confirm that it seats fully and locks in place.
  • Assembled-length check: sections are joined and the assembled pole is inspected for straightness and joint tightness.
