Description
A personal earthing wire sized to the voltage class it is used on: the higher the system voltage, the longer and thicker the lead, so the operator never has to bridge a gap with an undersized conductor.
The conductor is stranded copper, 25 mm² or 35 mm² depending on class, sheathed in transparent PVC so the strands can be inspected before every job.
The table below pairs each voltage class with the lead length and cross-section the set is built with, from 35 kV at 3 m through to 1000 kV at 15 m.
Terminations are dual-hole copper lugs hydraulically crimped and sealed with heat-shrink sleeves, which keeps the joint sealed against oxidation and marks the phase clearly.
Every set is crimped and continuity-checked in our own workshop before packing.
