Description
Purpose-built for railway high-voltage catenary lines: this portable grounding set earths the overhead contact wire during maintenance, so the circuit is proved dead before work starts.
Three-section epoxy resin operating rod: insulated, moisture and age resistant, with chrome-plated threaded joints that screw together for field assembly. The three-section design keeps the packed length transportable while still reaching catenary height.
High-purity bare copper conductor, 25 mm²: supplied in 8 m, 12 m and 15 m lengths, with the flexible copper braid coiled ready for deployment.
Gooseneck grounding hook: clamps directly onto the contact wire. The galvanised rail clamp in corrosion-resistant carbon steel anchors the other end to the rail.
Five components, one grounding path: gooseneck hook, epoxy resin rod, chrome threaded joints, copper conductor and rail clamp. PVC handle grips, red / yellow / green colour coding. Conforms to IEC 61230.
